Back in August I did a post here on the blog of fabrics printed with crochet designs. One of the most popular motifs to see printed onto fabric was the classic granny square. This is the quintessential crochet image that everyone knows as crochet so when people are looking to recreate the “crochet style” without actually crocheting it’s this print that comes to mind.
Here are some items you’ve seen on this blog before that are designed to look like they’re made of crochet granny squares but are actually fabric:
Thornberry put some granny square fabric to work when making this great shirt!

MemeRose recently shared this crochet granny square printed bed linen and rug from Heals

Granny Goes Punk; a shoe spotted on Punk.com by Wicked Web

What are your thoughts on the granny square print?
