In just about a week it’ll be time for this year’s big Crochet Concupiscence Christmas Giveaway. It’s 12 days of crochet Christmas fun and it was made possible in large part to the following ten sponsors who each donated at least one item to this year’s giveaway.
Anastacia is a crochet designer whose work I’ve featured on this blog before. I particularly love her crochet shawls but she does a variety of different patterns. Anastacia has generously donated ten patterns to this giveaway, which will be given out in sets of 3 and 4 across three different days of the 12 day giveaway.
Marinke of A Creative Being
Marinke (@winkieflash) is a crochet designer who aims to inspire others by sharing her work, craft and peeks into her life. She has donated two terrific patterns to this crochet giveaway. Marinke blogs at A Creative Being and you may know about her also from the touching story she shared in my book Crochet Saved My Life. Find her on Facebook and Ravelry.
Laurinda Reddig of ReCrochetions (who also shared her story in Crochet Saved My Life) has been making a splash in the crochet scene this year, winning awards at CGOA and getting her designs published in crochet magazines. She also succeeded in completing her first self-published pattern book and has donated a copy to this giveaway.
Jocelyn Sass of Cute Crochet
Too Cute Crochet specializes in easy crochet accessory patterns for baby, children & women designed by Jocelyn Sass. Jocelyn has been a crochet designer for more than 20 years. Jocelyn also sells crochet home decor and doll patterns in her Cute Crochet Etsy Shop. Jocelyn has donated her patterns from both shops to this giveaway.
I love the Crochet Kitten blog, a blog rich in tutorials and free patterns. Some things are worth paying for, though, and Crochet Kitten also has great patterns for sale in her Ravelry shop. She describes her patterns as “crochet patterns that mix style with adorkability and just a hint of silliness”. Crochet Kitten has donated $30 worth of patterns to this giveaway. Note that this sponsor is also offering a 10% discount off of all crochet patterns to my readers this month. Just use tjhe code Concup12 when checking out at CrochetKitten’s Ravelry Shop.
Debi of Hooks and Yarns
Debi of Dly’s Hooks and Yarns is always making great crochet items, including her own patterns, and sharing them with us on her blog. She has donated two gently used crochet books to this giveaway and let me tell you that they are good ones!
Lauren Fraser of 2nd Look Vintage
Lauren has an Etsy store called 2nd Look Vintage where she sells very special vintage knit and crochet patterns. She has taken her mom’s vintage pattern collection, scanned the patterns and enhanced/colorized them to make them easier to read and work from while still retaining the vintage feel. Lauren has donated some terrific pattern booklets to this giveaway. Visit Lauren on Facebook.
Birgit of By Number 19
Birgit is a multi-craftual fiber enthusiast and crochet designer who blogs at By Number 19. She shares many free crochet patterns on her blog. Birgit has donated some beautiful cotton yarn to this giveaway and shares a free pattern that the yarn can be used for if the winner so desires.
TracyAnn of Crochet Happy
TracyAnn is the mastermind behind Crochet Happy, a website where she aggregates all sorts of information for crochet lovers. She has generously donated more than five dozen different gently used crochet hooks, most in like-new condition. Check out her blog and Facebook page to learn more about her.
Mel’s Daisy Patch is a blog as well as an Etsy shop filled with crochet patterns. Creator Melissa Graham learned to crochet in 2007 after losing her mother and greatly enjoys crocheting for others as well as creating original patterns for people to be inspired by. She has kindly donated one of her patterns to this giveaway and she’s making it winner’s choice!
Thanks again to all of the great sponsors! On December 10th I’ll announce the prizes that will be available during this giveaway and the giveaway runs December 13 – 24. Get the giveaway details here.
