I woke up this morning to find out that Crochet Concupiscence was down for about two hours last night. I hate when my site goes down. I treasure each and every one of you wonderful readers and I know that it’s irritating to try to visit a site and find that it’s not working. I wanted to let you know what’s going on and apologize for any downtime on the site.
Those of you who follow this blog regularly know that I have had ongoing web hosting problems for more than a month now. There were periodic outages with my original webhost that were of such concern that I recently switched to a new host. The switch caused additional downtime, which is to be expected when moving a site from one place to another but was longer than anticipated, the first red flag that the new hosting situation might not work. Indeed, I’ve had continued problems on the new host.
We have been working very hard behind the scenes to keep the site up and active. For the most part, we have been successful. However, there are some ongoing issues with this new host and it is possible that the site might freeze up and experience downtime periodically over the next few days. If you try to access Crochet Concupiscence and have trouble please come back a little later as I promise we are on top of this and are addressing all outages as quickly as possible.
We do have some solutions at work and expect to have the entire problem resolved soon so that you won’t have to see any more apology messages from me like this! I value your readership and always aim to make the site as easy to use as possible.
