Crochet swimsuits just seem to get more and more popular each summer and this summer is no exception. I’ve seen them popping up everywhere from Etsy stores to Missoni for Target. Most of them are cute enough but look the same as all of the others. That’s why the ones that are truly unique and stand out with terrific crochet design are worth looking at twice. I love the choice of color on this crochet monokini by Etsy’s eleonoraesposito
DOLL Swimwear has a great line of crochet swimsuits. I personally love this example of an asymmetrical crochet monokini. TIP: Manie One also does great asymmetrical crochet swimwear.
Etsy’s MyCrochetTreasures does beautiful crochet monokinis. I love the addition of the jewel on this one.

Top 5 Crochet Bikinis
I love the original shape on this bikini top by Ambika Boutique which has a great line of crochet swimwear.
This crochet bikini pattern is for sale through Ravelry from Fashion Martina. What I love is the unique floral embellishments and the bold color.
This is just the bikini top but I love the design and it’s a great example of handmade crochet work that most of us could do if we had the pattern. It’s from Etsy’s AtelierRetro.

Two things caught my attention about this crochet bikini top by Legin Knits. First, the use of a novelty yarn, which you almost never see in crochet swimwear. And second, the fact that it’s a crochet top for a woman with real curves.
I love ruffled crochet swimsuits because they’re unique and can be figure-flattering for some people. This one is a crochet pattern by Deja Jetmir available for sale on Ravelry.

This is the Feathering Peacock Bodysuit/Swimsuit from Lisa Maree, one of the most popular crochet swimwear designers. Lisa Maree is an Australian based designer that has recently branched out into non-crochet designs and non-swimwear pieces but the crochet swimsuits remain the core strength of the brand.

Beauty and the Beach is a crochet swimwear store that has done well enough to be featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. I love the option of their crochet shorts over a swimsuit.
I had a hard time choosing just one of the crochet swimsuit designs by Anna Kosturova for this roundup because there are so many good ones! This is the Regatta Shortkini.

It’s impossible not to love this 1970′s crochet coverup for a matching swimsuit and including a matching crochet tote. Free crochet pattern online.

The bottoms on this crochet bikini are so teeny tiny they kind of require a skirt coverup!
