Galler Yarns is a family-owned “boutique importer of high quality yarns”. Their Inco Eco Cotton Yarn line is making its way through the blogging world this month with a blog tour that starts today. Crochet Concupiscence is part of that blog tour, later in the month.
About Galler Yarns
Galler Yarns is imports yarn for wholesale to a variety of stores. It was launched in the 1920′s and has been passed down through the family; it is now a third generation family business. The goal of the business is to import the highest quality yarn at the lowest prices. The company focuses on yarn for knitters (and you can find many knitting patterns in their Ravelry store) but of course this yarn can be used by crocheters as well and the company is increasingly recognizing the crochet niche, which is notable on their Facebook page where they’ve altered their original tagline about yarn “for discerning knitters” to yarn for “discerning knitters and crocheters”.
The Inca Eco Yarn Line
There are currently just over one dozen different yarns imported by this company in a huge variety of different fibers. Inca Eco is an organic cotton thick-and-thin yarn that is imported from Peru. It is available in its natural undyed state as the color “ecru”. It is also available in more than one dozen other colors, primarily nature-inspired shades.
