Actually it’s greenish-gold and has no hint of a military association but it’s still a beret! I made it for a friend but didn’t like how it turned out so made her a second one (that I was still kind of unsure about). I thought I’d try it today. It’s okay, I guess. Adds pop to the outfit but it’s a tough crochet hat to wear. Demands a strong sense of style I think.
