From the Rav post: “Malabrigo Quickies are little patterns, requiring only one or two skeins of yarn, which we’d like to release in conjunction with designers every two weeks. Pretty much any kind of accessory or small-pattern-object is acceptable. We’re looking for new, not-yet-published patterns.” They provide the yarn support, promotion of the pattern, etc. and you retain the rights to self-publish and sell.

Crochet World October 2012 Issue
Pattern proposals are being accepted now for the October issue of Crochet World. Themes include autumn, beading and family time. They’re looking for fresh contemporary uses of traditional 1970′s crochet colors like yellow and avocado.

This is the fourth year of an “international competitive exhibition that seeks to showcase a wide range of outstanding works related to the fiber medium.” No size limit, entries are submitted online.
