crochet job leads Daily Crochet Job Links 1/16/12

My goal here is to find job leads that offer work-from-home opportunities to crochet, design crochet, writing about crochet or edit patterns for pay. One way that this can grow is if you choose to advertise here ($15 for a feature post and a 30-day listing on the job board). Spread the word!

Here are the featured posts for today.

Teach a Workshop at 17th International Surface Design Association Conference

“The Surface Design Association is an international community engaged in the creative exploration of fiber & fabric. Our mission is to promote awareness & appreciation of the textile arts.” Applications are being accepted for workshop ideas for this conference that happens in Texas in June so if you have an idea for teaching a crochet workshop then this could be a good fit. You have to pay $15 to apply but if accepted will be paid between $225 and $1125 plus conference fee waiver, lodging and travel allowances. Proposals due March 1, 2012. More info here.

Crochet Job Leads

Job Leads for Paid Crochet Jobs

  • Crochet Hats From Patterns. A crochet hat maker has too much work and needs someone who can make hats from a pattern. Will pay $10 per hat.
  • Blogger for Yarn Store and Website. Get paid to blog about yarn, knitting and crochet. They want someone who can make in-person meetings in LA but I’m not sure how firm that is. Full disclosure: I’m applying for this one myself! This same store is also seeking a yarn store sales associate and photographer in Los Angeles.
  • Crochet Teacher Needed in WA. They need an in-person crochet teacher “proficient in crochet, finding gauge, yardage requirements, and garment construction and finishing” and prefer someone who also has knowledge in other fiber arts.

Pattern Testers (typically the deal is you get a free pattern for your efforts)

Volunteer Job Leads

Good luck!
