Juniper Moon Farm Design Contest
Juniper Moon is hosting a design contest for both knit and crochet patterns and the winners get between $50 and $300 worth of Juniper Moon Farms yarn. They want new, original patterns using 1-2 skeins of either their Chadwick or Willa yarn. The top eight designs (for for each yarn type) will win free yarn in varying amounts.

Tangled Online Magazine Patterns
Tangled is an online magazine that accepts crochet, knit and crochet/knit combo patterns. You have your option of getting a one-time payment for your design and then it’s offered for free download or you can offer it through Tangled for paid download and receive a portion of all earnings. For the upcoming issue deadline Tangled is seeking heavily draped items, shawls and work embellished with great buttons.

The Blind Hem
This magazine is seeking writing related to fashion and clothing so if you crochet garments and that inspires you to write then it may be a good fit. They accepting submissions throughout the year. Unfortunately there’s no pay on this one but it could be a good resume-booster and creativity prompt.

Small Expressions is an annual art exhibit designed to showcase the beauty of small works. Small scale pieces are accepted from any type of fiber art media including crochet.

Beneath The Southern Sky Textile Art Show
“Textile artists are invited to submit an entry for a travelling exhibition of textile works exploring the title theme – Beneath the Southern Sky. ” Any type of fiber art is welcome so crochet art is fair game. This is an Australian exhibit but international entries are welcome.
