Crochet Video: Math-Based Crocheted Clouds

Last week I mentioned how art, science and math had come together with crochet in a crocheted clouds exhibit at a Paris gallery. I’ve just recently discovered a video showing some of this work and I think it does the crochet better justice than the pictured I’d see so I thought I’d share it. Note that the “talking part” is in French but even if you don’t understand it (which I don’t) you can enjoy the eye candy of this crochet crochet.

What would you think about seeing this exhibit in person?

Thanks for posting that link. That exhibit is so beautiful. Reminds me of hyperbolic crochet.

    • Yes! I think hyperbolic crochet is the most well-known math-based crochet but people are doing lots of cool stuff with math and crochet.
