First off I just want to say thank you to all my wonderful readers who have been so helpful this past week or so with all of the commenting problems that I was having on the blog. I know it was a bit of a pain to take the time to type in your comments and then have nothing happen. I truly appreciate the fact that so many of you let me know about the problem, helped me identify what was happening, emailed me your comments and just plain came back to try again. You’re wonderful.
And now I think the problem should be fixed.
After much effort and research, my web guy and I decided that the best thing to do was to disable the Disqus comment system and install a new one. We are going with LiveFyre. I like it so far. It offers some good social conversation options like using @replies to notify your peeps when you’ve mentioned them in a comment, etc. More importantly, it seems to be working on this blog.
Please, if you encounter any problems with this new comment system, drop me a line to let me know. Tell me what the problem was and what browser you were on when it happened. And you can also include your comment if you want me to push it live. But, fingers crossed, that shouldn’t be an issue now.
