Usually I used Wednesdays to show off an item that I’ve completed crocheting but I don’t have any photos ready yet so I’m going to join in on WIP Wednesday this week instead.

WIP Scarf

crochet motifs My Crochet: WIP Scarf

As you can see, I’ve got a bunch of motifs that will need to be joined together. The end result is going to be a really colorful skinny scarf in pink, green and yellow. This is way different than the stuff I normally make. I doing usually do a lot of joining or a lot of color changes but I wanted to work on something different from the other projects I had going. And the truth is that I do like making little motifs … I just doing like the joining process.

Scarf Inspiration

grapefruit My Crochet: WIP Scarf

This scarf is inspired by the Pink Grapefruit Scarf by Twinkie Chan. The pattern is in her crochet book (Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies). I have variations in the color. And I haven’t decided if I’m going to add the yarn that creates the “slices”. But this was where I got the basic idea and motif pattern.
