Most of the time the crochet jewelry pieces that I eye are traditional crochet made with hook and thread (or yarn). However, there is a great tradition of using crochet techniques to create wire jewelry and jewelry with precious metals. I think that’s worth eyeing this holiday season if you’re hoping to get something special in this year’s stocking.

Some great luxury crochet jewelry options:

1. Zari Crochet Necklace

This Acrylic flower necklace ensconced in Zari crochet is from the St. Erasmus Jewelry Line

2. Arielle de Pinto Wave Spectrum Necklace

The Arielle de Pinto Spectrum Wave Necklace has a crocheted sterling silver chain

3. Silver Cast Crochet Earrings

Ashley Stevens crochets items and casts them in silver as we see from this earring

4. Detailed Crochet Circle Earrings

Marcia Moran Rhodium Round Large Crochet Circle Earrings

5. Artistic Wire Crochet Necklace

This artistic wire crochet necklace is adorned with red Swarovski crystals

6. Freshwater Pearl Crochet Bracelet

I love this pearl beaded crochet bracelet

7. 14K White Gold Crochet Necklace

This 14 Karat White Gold Sparkle Crochet Necklace is pricey but beautiful in its simplicity

Do you enjoy metal work crochet or do you prefer yarn / thread crochet?

These are just beautiful. I think I’m going to have to branch out and work on crochet jewelry someday!

@Mostlynerdycrochet … I’ve only dabbled a little in crochet jewelry and haven’t gotten into wire work but certainly would like to at some point.

I am a crocheter ( sp? ) from way back. Learned thread doilies from gramma at age 7. Also yarn, knit, self taught square wire artisan as well as round wire. Tried wire crochet but found the wire cut into my fingers. However, since seeing your silver necklace with red Swarovski crystal beads, I’m getting excited to learn it. If you have or would develop a tutorial, I would happily buy it. Think for this piece, the tut should sell for at least $25. What do you think? Thank you for sharing.
