On Wednesdays I like to show off some of my own crochet work to supplement the news stories and writing I do about other people’s crochet. Last week I featured a crochet cowl (that I may turn into a crochet dress) and mentioned that I’ve been on a big cowl making kick lately. I thought you might like to see some of the other ones that I’ve done:
The pattern for this is the Chunky Char-Cowl in the book Crochet Chic.
This one is a single stitch pattern with shells on the top and the bottom (not based on any particular pattern). I used the super soft ArtYarns cashmere sock yarn to make this cowl and it feels soooooo great.
In a previous post I wrote about the discontinued Bernat Haven in White yarn that I struggled to work up into something. It ended up as a large cowl, sealed together with a shell stitch to add button-like texture to the front.
