Here is one of those items that perhaps one should not crochet! It was the first neckwarmer that I tried to make, before I knew anything about crochet and before I realized that my personal style leans much more towards scarves than neckwarmers or cowls of any kind. It was a good practice item since it was the first time I added a second color to my work (which I think is obvious!) and the first time I did any crochet with buttons. Ultimately I did end up frogging the work. I turned the chunky maroon yarn into a purse that also had to be frogged and then into a hat that I’ve still got but regularly think about frogging. I just re-used one of the buttons as the button for a crochet belt that I’m still working on. Lessons learned.
