March is National Craft Month! Celebrate crochet!!!
National Craft Month was first celebrated in 1994 so this year is the 18th celebration of National Craft Month. It’s sponsored by the Craft and Hobby Association but lots and lots of different organizations and individuals do a variety of different things to participate in this celebration. For example, craft store Michael’s has added a bunch of new classes and free events to their March schedule including crochet stuff.

NOTE: The second week of March is specifically to celebrate crochet since the Crochet Guild of America has designated it National Crochet Week.
