Crochet Quote: Scott Adams

Today’s quote isn’t specific to crochet. However, it’s about art and creativity and I found it on another crochet blog.

“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”

The quote is by Scott Adams in The Dilbert Principle (Collins).

It was posted a couple of years ago on the Go Crochet Blog where crochet designer Ellen Gormley notes that some of her favorite designs have evolved from mistakes.
